Peddling For Funds

Fans have really taken to Martin Allen’s idea of cycling to raise funds for the club.

Since the details were announced last weekend over £6,500 has been raised in sponsorship of Martin, whilst £2,500 has been pledged by five cyclists who will join him.

Martin and the other bikers will set off at 12 noon on November 29th from Knowle Hill on the A4 towards Griffin Park. Later in the evening Martin will be chairing a question and answer session in Brentford’s own pub, The Princess Royal.

This initiative, as Martin says: ‘is to raise awareness of our fundraising efforts to help steady the tricky financial position of Brentford Football Club’.
