Brentford’s Championship season continued with a win at Molineux against Wolves on Wednesday.

A goal in either half from Djuricin and Hofmann, in the closing minutes, was enough to secure successive wins for Brentford under new Head Coach Carsley when the Bees came away from Wolves with a two-nil win.

Brentford went ahead when Djuricin (17) opened the scoring, collecting a pass from Judge the striker had a go with this effort taking a big deflection off Wolves defender Batth, which helped it on it’s way past Martinez!

There wasn’t much of a threat from Wolves in the first half with Button forced into one real save, which he achieved when he turned away an effort from Ojo.

In the second half this wasn’t much improved either as Brentford did a job that was required with Carsley setting up the Bees to be well organised and well disciplined, with this working.

Afobe should have at least hit the target from close range, but the Wolves striker put an effort over the bar with Bees ‘keeper Button keeping out a Le Fondre chance but that was about that.

The points were secured when Hofmann (88), brought off the bench, went around Wolves ‘keeper Martinez to seal the two-nil win a couple of minutes from time.
