Brentford secured a one-nil West London derby win over QPR in the Championship on Friday in the live Sky Sports game for a first win over the Bees’ rivals in 50-years, admittedly the sides have only met on eight occasions since that win in August 1965 and not at all in over a decade!

The woodwork might have saved Brentford twice in the first half but the second half was one Brentford were able to control with the breakthrough coming ahead of the hour when Djuricin got in front of his man at the near post to fire a Judge cross past QPR ‘keeper Green with what proved to be the winner.

The above video shows the highlights from this game at Griffin Park with this fourth successive win also seeing Brentford move into the top half of the table and up into 10th place, above QPR.

Bees boss Carsley will surely be the Championship Manager of the Month for October?
