Brentford are poised to sign left back Scott Barron from Championship side Millwall.

Barron’s move – subject to a medical today – would mean that he follows Tony Craig across London this summer.

Uwe Rosler has been in the market for a left back after attempts to bring Everton’s Jake Bidwell back to London on loan stalled. Rosler played Shaleum Logan out of position in Saturday’s defeat at Walsall with academy youngster Leon Redwood on the bench.

Barron made his league debut AGAINST Brentford back in 2004, having broken into the Ipswich Town squad after coming through their youth ranks.

The 26 year old joined Millwall in 2007 and has started over 80 league games for The Lions, playing a key part in the playoffs when they were promoted from League One.
