Brentford Reserves lost 1-0 to a fairly strong QPR Reserve side at Aldershot Town today – with Ben Strevens playing the entire second half of the game as he returns from injury.

The only goal was scored by a former Bee – Patrick Agyemang – who played on loan at Griffin Park back when Wimbledon was located in South West London and not Milton Keynes.

Strevens slow return to fitness should provide a major boost to a team struggling for goals – although fans should not expect too much too soon from a player who only started contact training last week

Ben told Beesotted this afternoon ‘The game (v QPR) went OK thanks – although 45 minutes was enough !’

It is possible that Strevens might feature on the bench at Orient this Saturday although Andy Scott will not want to risk injuring the striker again by forcing him back into frontline action too early.

Brentford Reserves line-up today was : Simon Moore (Steven Arnold), Lewis Ferrell, Ryan Blake, Charlie Allen, Karleigh Osborne, Chris Bush, Cleveland Taylor, Jake Reeves, Steve Kabba, Sean Lucien (Ben Strevens), Myles Weston
