According to Oldham’s official site, this Saturday’s League One game at Griffin Park is in the balance.

Most of the pitch is reported as playable but there is apparently an area of pitch close to the main stand which is refusing to thaw.

Weather reports suggest that the temperature in London may dip on Friday from cold to bloody cold – and there is also the possibility of more snow tonight (Wednesday).

There has been no official comment on the weather yet from Brentford who are rumoured to be trying to secure the signature of weatherman John Kettley on loan to provide competition for Shaleum Logan at right back.

Beesotted has been in contact with renowned Brentford based photographer Paul Slattery to encourage him to go and sort the pitch out with a kettle but his reply is not printable on a family website.
