Brentford face Wimbledon imposters MK Dons tomorrow keen to keep up their recent momentum.

On the back of two wins following three defeats Brentford’s too-little too-late surge for the play offs looks to continue at Stadium MK, but it won’t be easy.

MK Dons are firmly in the play off places, nine points away from 7th placed Stevenage and nine points from an automatic spot, and are clearly a better side than our recent opponents Preston and Rochdale. Their recent form has been steady with two wins, two draws and two losses in their past six games but Uwe believes we have a chance on a big pitch that suits our game and MK Don’s recent loss of players due to injury and expired loans.

Clayton Donaldson’s recent goal scoring form, confidence from recent wins and Clinton Morrison’s impact in the dressing room are all positive factors that could cause a minor upset.

Harlee Dean has been told he will not be offered a new contract by Southampton and so will be playing for a contract at Brentford. One feels Uwe is quite keen to keep him although you’d hope for a little more consistency from the youngster. Uwe is also keen on Adam Foreshaw on a year long loan or as a permanent signing. The young midfielder is out for the rest of the season but Uwe has met with Everton and Adam’s family to discuss options.

Marcus Bean should be in contention for a place in the squad.
