According to reports in the Hounslow Chronicle Brentford are interested in signing Fulham winger Bjorn Helge Riise – brother of John Arne Riise.

Fulham are unlikely to renew the contract of the 28 year old Norwegian which expires this summer – whilst the former Lillestrom star is keen to stay in the UK where his young family are settled.

Riise – who has also played for Sheffield United and Portsmouth on loan – is a right sided player who can also play through the centre.

Brentford have already announced one new signing this summer – in the form of Irish winger Stuart Dallas – whilst Uwe is keen to secure the services of former loanees Harlee Dean and Adam Forshaw on permanent deals.
