Despite playing the game for some 75-minutes with only 10-men Brentford collected a deserved point on Saturday.

A late second half goal as enough to ensure that Brentford’s meeting with Birmingham City at Griffin Park ended in a 1-1 draw.

When Tony Craig fouled former striker Clayton Donaldson in the box not only did is cost us a penalty it cost us a man as he was shown a straight red card and that left us playing the majority of the game with 10-men.

Paul Caddis (17) stepped up to convert the penalty.

Wes Thomas headed over, when he should had scored with David Button saving well from Cotterill and Lee Novak header but it was still one-nil to visitors at half time.

Andre Gray couldn’t turn home Alan Judge’s cross, with a penalty denied us when Jake Bidwell looked to have been caught by David Edgar as it looked like it wasn’t going to be our day.

Mark Warburton turned to Moses Odubajo (79) and the substitute had the impact that his boss wanted ending a fine solo run by chipping Birmingham ‘keeper Darren Randolph to make it one-one.

Another sub, Stuart Dallas, almost won it for us late on by Randolph saved and it ended one-one.
